Low Light Shooting

Low Light Shooting

Since the majority of self-defense encounters occur in darkness, it is important to understand how to use a handgun and light in dark environments to identify threats.

Our Low Light shooting Course is a basic course designed to introduce the student to a low light shooting environment. You should have a good understanding of the fundamentals of shooting a handgun before taking this course.

This course covers how the human eye works in diminished light, use of ambient light during threat engagement as well as various flashlight deployment techniques to illuminate and identify targets.

The students will perform exercises designed to develop mechanical skills to safely hold a flashlight, identify a target, draw, aim, fire and re-holster.
