If you want to learn about shooting a handgun but feel intimidated, this class is for you. 

This 2 1/2-hour handgun training class is held at our private range and is designed especially for you. 

The training session emphasizes handgun safety, proper shooting fundamentals, and basic movements in a slow and comfortable setting.

We will cover 

• Firearms Safety Rules

• Shooting stance

• Proper Grip

• Sight Alignment

• Trigger control

• Recoil management

• Follow-through

• Shooting tempo

• The shooting portion of the online License to Carry a Handgun class.

• Intro to Defensive Handgun

What to wear:

Check weather conditions and dress appropriately for outdoor activities. 

Recommended:

Clothes with pockets for an extra magazine 

Comfortable shoes 

A ball cap protects your face against sun and ejected casings and helps keep your hair off your face. 

NOT recommended:

Don't wear a tank top, low-cut V-neck, shirts with spaghetti straps, sweatpants, yoga pants, or gym shorts with only a drawstring

Don't wear a lot of jewelry or large, dangling earrings, bracelets, etc. These could fall or cause distractions while shooting 

What to bring:

A clean and lubricated handgun (we have handguns for rent with prior arrangements for $20)

A holster is highly recommended but not required

A sturdy belt to support the holster 

100 rounds of ammunition (we have 9 mm and 22 LR)

Eye and Hearing protection (we have available to loan. Prescription or sunglasses will work)
